Terms and Conditions

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The “Classmate Pulse: Design Your Style” Canva Design Contest (hereinafter referred to as “Competition”) is organized by ITC Limited (hereinafter referred to as “ITC”) and executed by Wings Brand Activations (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”). Participants of the Competition will be referred to individually as “Participant” and collectively as “Participants”.

Participation in this Competition is purely voluntary. By participating, each Participant agrees to abide by the complete terms and conditions set forth herein and accepts the decisions of the Organizers as final and binding in all matters related to the Competition.

ELIGIBILITY

1. The Competition is open exclusively to individuals who are current college or university students residing in India.

2. Participants must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of both registration and submission. Non-college students will be disqualified from the Competition.

3. Participants below the age of 18 must obtain the consent of their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) to participate.

4. Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of ITC and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and promotion vendors (collectively “Promotion Parties”), as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Upload Design/Submission Guidelines:

– Participants will first need to choose their design preset from amongst a total of 7 presets, based on their self-assessed skill level – Beginner, Intermediate or Pro.

– Once Participants have chosen their design, they will receive a Canva link where they can make a copy of the template to begin editing & designing.

– Participants must develop their design according to the theme and guidelines specific to the selected category.

– Once the design is complete, Participants must upload their finished design through the ‘Upload’ section on the website [insert microsite link here] to officially enter the Competition.

– All submissions must be original work created by the Participant using Canva.

– The designs must be submitted in JPG, JPEG or PNG only.

– Designs must not contain any offensive or inappropriate content, including but not limited to violence, hatred, or discrimination against any group.

– Submissions that violate any third-party intellectual property rights will be disqualified.

JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION

1. All eligible entries will be displayed on the competition website for public voting.

2. The designs that receive the highest number of votes will be shortlisted.

3. From the shortlisted designs, a panel of experts from ITC will select the final winners.

4. Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, alignment with the theme, and the public vote.

5. The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding on all Participants.

2. Additional recognition and opportunities may include Feature of the Winning Designs on Classmate Pulse Notebooks with a credit to the student name and/or Feature on Classmate’s official website and social media platforms.

3. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other items.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

1. By submitting an entry, Participants grant ITC a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display the submitted designs in any manner or medium, including for promotional purposes.

2. ITC reserves the right to modify or alter the design as deemed necessary for any promotional activities.

PUBLICITY

1. By participating in the Competition, Participants agree to allow ITC and its affiliates to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and publicity purposes without any further compensation.

GENERAL TERMS

1. ITC reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the terms and conditions or is deemed inappropriate by the Organizers.

2. The Organizers reserve the right to modify, extend, or terminate the Competition at their sole discretion without prior notice.

3. ITC and the Promotion Parties will not be liable for any technical failures, submission errors, or other issues beyond their control that affect participation in the Competition.

4. All disputes arising out of or related to the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, India.

PRIVACY POLICY

1. By participating in the Competition, Participants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal information by ITC for the purpose of administering the Competition and for any other purposes related to the Competition.
